Moving Meditation by Candlelight
Yoga in the west has become a physical practice focusing on core strength, balance and flexibility, in this candlelit class we explore the other side that yoga offers. Moving in a medative way we allow the body to open up in a very natural way using the aid of props such as pillows, blocks, straps and blankets.
Not only do we use physical poses to release tension but also meditation practices, pranayama (breathing) techniques, mindfulness and Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation).
This class is ideal for those who are ailed by insomnia or sleeplessness, increased stress levels or anxiety, those new to Yoga and those of you who are looking for more of a rounded practice or those who just feel they need a little time to restore and revive their bodies and minds.
